Job Title
- HVAC Service Technician
Work Hours
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with occasional overtime
Pay Rate
- Up to $38 per hour, depending on experience

What You Will Be Doing
- Dispatched from home
- Running service calls and scheduled annual maintenance
- Completing repairs and maintenance on a wide variety of residential and commercial heating and air conditioning systems
- Providing customer with a high-quality experience
- Give feedback to the Service Manager regarding technical training needs, inventory, and retail pricing
What We Are Looking For
- Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
- HVAC service experience in commercial and residential systems
- EPA Universal Certification
- Willingness to learn and gain new skills
- Experienced at troubleshooting, repairing, and performing maintenance for wide range of equipment
- Able to consult with customer on making repair and replace decisions
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints
- Knowledge of basic sheet metal practices
- Familiar with air balancing principles and techniques
- Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Pass background check and drug screen

What You Will Be Doing
- Answer inbound calls
- Schedule sales and follow-up appointments while assisting sales personnel in closing jobs
- Processing warranties, rebates, and incentives
- Processing job actuals data
- Working off ServiceTitan and Opportunity Interactive software platforms
- Assisting with safety administration
- Scheduling planned maintenance visits
- Manage and archive job files and folders upon job completion
- Assist Service Dispatcher with scheduling service appointments
- Maintaining a positive, productive, open line of communication between the customer and all company departments
Qualifications and Skills
- 2 + years related experience in an office setting in customer service, dispatching, project coordination, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Microsoft Office software skills
- Data Entry skills of 40 WPM +
- Professional telephone skills and exceptional phone presence
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients and techs
- Schedule coordinating experience
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Well organized and able to work independently

This position will be responsible for new installation, retrofit and ongoing service for building automation systems for our commercial customers. There will be training opportunities in additional building automation systems.

What You Will be Doing
- Provide installation, of new and retrofit building automation control systems
- Provide service and troubleshooting of existing systems

Qualification / Skills

- Control Automation experience
- 3 + years of programming experience
- EPA Universal Certification

- Experienced in creating and modifying building automation controllers using graphical programming tools

- Experience troubleshooting and servicing DDC controls
- VRF diagnostics and repair
- Solid working knowledge of one or more of the following product lines: Trane, Johnson Controls, Distech, Honeywell, Niagara-AX, and N4
- TCP/IP networking basic knowledge
- A thorough understanding of the following communication protocols: LonWorks, BacNet, and Modbus
- Capable of commissioning and troubleshooting equipment that uses the protocols listed
- Capable of troubleshooting issues with the above protocols including software, equipment configuration, and wiring
- Proficient with Microsoft Office: Word and Excel
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints
- Familiar with a wide range of equipment and troubleshooting techniques
